WILDS Mentor and Protégé Assignments Coming Up! (posted December 20, 2012)
Being mentored means having someone you can go to who is committed to your success and has the credentials to help you sort through the complexities of your professional life – both short and long term.
Being a mentor gives you an opportunity to share your own experience and insight with another woman in your field. Many mentors say that they learn just as much from their protégés as their protégés learn from them. Women at nearly all stages of career development can be a mentor.
The WILDS mentoring program, open to all members, is one of the greatest benefits of WILDS membership! Once you have completed the survey on the link below, you will be notified of your mentor or protégé depending on your specific interests. There will be an orientation webinar which will cover basics such as time commitments, best mentoring practices and suggestions about how to make the program work for your individual needs.
Who can resist the opportunity to benefit from the dedicated, high quality, insights of another woman on the move!
Please complete the survey at this link (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2012WILDSMentoring) by January 31, 2013, and you will be notified once the matches have been made.
If you have any questions, please contact Violette Jacobson or Margaret (Peg) Weir
