                      National Mall, at 14th Street and

                      Constitution Avenue, N.W.  Following our visit, we

                      will take the networking for a casual evening at the

                      BlackFinn Saloon

                      1620 I Street NW      

                      Washington DC

 

Cost:               Pay as you go

          

Soak in some of what D.C. has to offer during this opportunity to meet, mentor and grow professional relationships.  All WILDS members and guests are welcome!  Meet in the main entrance of the National Museum of American History. The casual evening to follow will be a pay as you go event.

WILDS Northeast Chapter — Explore DC

Time:              12:00 noon

 

Location:        Atrium at Aria

                      1300 Pennsylvania Ave. NW (courtyard behind the

                      Ronald Reagan Building)

 

Cost:               $20 for members and $25 for non-members

          

Gail Silberglied, an author, government relations expert and former Hill staffer, will discuss advocacy at the Congressional level and lead an interactive exercise which allows participants a first-hand look at the what elected officials are evaluating and how the process works.
